Apple sells 3M iPads The Mini launched in the U.S. and 33 other countries, starting at $329. According to Apple's website, online orders for the Mini ship currently ship in two weeks. Apple fans flocked to Apple stores this past weekend to scoop up a Mini, although Reuters and others reported that lines were shorter than the average Apple launch, including the most recent iPhone 5 in September. The iPad Mini is more than half the weight and a quarter the size of the traditional iPad, featuring a 7.9-inch multi-touch display.
